Meesho is seeking a Data Support Engineer to join its high-energy engineering team in Bangalore. This role is central to ensuring the stability, performance, and availability of Meesho’s big data-based applications that manage millions of orders daily with remarkable uptime. You will be a first responder for platform issues—working on triage, resolving incidents, analyzing root causes, and proactively preventing future problems.

This position requires strong technical troubleshooting skills, a proactive mindset, and the ability to adhere to stringent SLAs for response and resolution times. Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and maintain Big Data platforms and applications.
  • Triage and resolve tickets related to functionality, performance, and availability.
  • Provide prompt, SLA-driven service to platform users.
  • Perform root cause analysis, workaround identification, and incident management.
  • Proactively detect and resolve issues before service impact.
  • Prepare high-quality support documentation, including knowledge base creation.
  • Install, manage, and monitor backup applications to ensure resiliency.

Key Technical Skills:

Linux Fundamentals, Database Fundamentals, SQL Queries, Troubleshooting, Incident Management, Knowledge Base Documentation, Big Data Application Monitoring

Requirements:

  • 1–3 years of overall IT/Data Support experience.
  • Strong Linux fundamentals for system-level troubleshooting.
  • Solid foundation in Databases and SQL queries.
  • Experience in managing application incidents, root cause analysis, and performance issues.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to adhere to support SLAs and operate in high-pressure situations.
  • Collaborative mindset with effective documentation and communication skills.
